This is a 200 mm wide × 100 m long Detectamesh® detectable underground warning mesh designed to mark the location of buried services such as fire mains. The mesh is made from durable coloured plastic (homopolymer polypropylene) with a stainless steel tracer wire embedded into the material. The printed warning message (Firemain Below) provides a highly visible alert to workers and equipment operators during excavation or groundworks.

The embedded tracer wire makes the mesh detectable by standard pipe and cable locators, helping to prevent accidental damage to underground utilities.
