The Safeline EL2229 Heat Detector Alarm is a high-performance, tem- perature-sensitive alarm designed to detect heat increases caused by open flames, even in environments where little or no smoke is present. Engineered with rapid temperature response, high accuracy, and excellent linearity, this detector ensures reliable performance in critical situations. It emits a gradually increasing alarm sound and features a red LED indicator to signal alarm status. This unit is battery operated, ensuring protection even during power outages, and includes a convenient test button for regular maintenance checks. It is ideal for use in kitchens, garages, and other areas where smoke alarms may not be suitable.

How to Use
Install the alarm on the ceiling in a suitable location (e.g. kitchen, hallway, garage).
Insert the included 2 x AAA batteries.
Press the test button to ensure proper operation.
The alarm will automatically activate when a rapid temperature increase is detected.
Test the unit weekly and after replacing the batteries.
Important Notes
Do not install in areas exposed to direct sunlight or sudden temperature spikes.
Install only in locations where ambient temperature is below 50°C.
Regular testing is recommended to ensure proper functionality
