Inspect before each use — check lanyard webbing/rope, connectors, stitching, energy absorber pack for signs of damage, wear, corrosion or deformation.
Select anchorage point — choose a structurally sound anchor point rated for fall-arrest loads and positioned appropriately to minimise free-fall distance.
Connect the lanyard — attach one end of the fall-absorbing lanyard to the anchorage point. Attach the other end to the dorsal D-ring of your full-body harness.
